Instead of bending over to get a look at your charge indicator light which for some
strange reason is below the power plug instead of above it, here's a neat little solution.
I had a bunch of these fiber optic strand clusters that you see attached to flashlights and sold at carnivals, novelty stores, etc.
All I did was twisty tie one to the power cord that came with the segway and line up the base of the strand
so it fits perfectly onto the charge indicator light. Now the light is spread through 75 or so fiber optic strands
and it looks very cool at night.
