Sacramento to Kona
Packing the Segway into two pieces of luggage for the Sacramento to Kona trip was simple.
Disassemble the segway removing tires, fenders, batteries and control shaft.
The base and fenders fit nice and snug into a RubberMaid ActionPacker storage container model 1172-04-38.
Make sure you place a couple towels on the bottom of the Rubbermaid container, if the base unit sits too low, the bolts
will rub up against the walls of the container too much. The reason for this is that the center walls of the container
are tapered.
Include a photo of the segway with a little note describing what it is.
The tires, batteries and control shaft will fit into any large size suitcase.
